My Story
I've always had a great love for artistry, in whatever form it takes. Film, however, is what has enticed me most. In trying different roles throughout university, I very quickly discovered that producing was for me.
I am a film production student with a growing specialism in producing across documentary, fiction, and collaborative productions. Throughout my university experience, I have consistently taken on producer and line producer roles, developing a strong balance between creative input and practical organisation.
The main thing that I love about producing is being able to add some of my own creative vision, while working to bring everyone else's to life. There's nothing I find more satisfying than gathering a group of talented people so we can all work together and achieve something great. Working as a team and each contributing our personal stamp onto a story is what I believe is so great about the filmmaking process.

I oversee film production from conception to completion, ensuring that every detail aligns with the vision, is well managed and adheres to industry standards. My skills includes budgeting, scheduling, and team coordination.
Line Production
I manage logistics, schedules, and practical workflows across productions in order to make a smooth film workflow.
Creative Development
I strongly believe in the power of collaboration, working alongside writers, directors, and other professionals to foster a creative environment. I love offering feedback, shaping ideas, and contributing creatively to strengthen projects.

Alongside creative producing, James is experienced in preparing the paperwork that keeps a production organised, including call sheets, daily production reports, and expense reports.
